Progress at the Frostburg House

We closed on September 8th 2003 and then we got a burning permit two days later.
We had trees in the lot cut in a 100 X 75 foot rectangle to accommodate the house. Then we started burning. Burning all that wood was a LOT of work (note the woodpile in the background which is partially obscured by the tree with the "marry me" sign on it.) ! We burned wood for at least 3 weeks and Donna did most of the work !

The work promptly began in late October with the digging of the foundation. Then the foundation was done around November 15th.

Then there was more snow (eventually much more than shown by these photos).
